Full Biography
A former Missionary and Information Technology Executive is not the first thing that comes to mind when individuals think of a brand strategist and content coach, yet, Kirk R. Nugent is used to reprograming the ideals of status quo expectations.
After earning his BS in Engineering Technology from Andrews University, the native Floridian used his skills as a computer technician for NASA, Director of IT at Wallace State Community College, Chief Information Officer at Oakwood University, and IT Director for the Southern Africa Indian Ocean Division headquartered in Pretoria, South Africa. Although he excelled at these and many other positions, he soon realized that his calling was steering him in a more hands-on approach to helping others.
Following his passion to help small businesses, entrepreneurs, and faith-based entities, Kirk and his wife started Komposition, LLC, a web design and live video strategy company that provides a full range of services to cater to individuals or small businesses helping them to master visibility and credibility in a world where Reputation is Digital.
While growing their business, Kirk refused to shy away from using his platform to connect technology and his unwavering faith in God, whom he calls, “the Ultimate Content Creator.” This unique correlation has taken him to speaking engagements and workshops worldwide, earning him the nickname the Geek Speaker Preacher. Navigating social media and technology with precision-like proficiency, he has become a reliable source for large corporations, varying size churches, and individuals who want to leverage video natrually.
As a content contributor for StreamYard, Ecamm, and EVMUX, and host / producer of his podcast How it All Werks, Kirk empowers businesses and leaders to turn content into community and authority into impact with no video editing required – Live Video Strategy.
Even with his busy schedule, his top priority continues to be a loving husband to his wife, Kanique, and a loving father to his two children.
